[fusion_text]Associate Professor Ruben Juanes, researcher Fran Martinez and postdoc Diego Lopez participated in the meeting of Spanish Scientists in the United States (Españoles Científicos en USA), held at MIT this past weekend. On Saturday, Juanes contributed to the opening panel on Scientific Keys to Global Challenges for Sustainable Development. Martinez is Vice President of the Association of Spanish Scientists in the US (ECUSA) and served as Chair of the meeting, and Lopez was also involved in the organization and planning of the event. Vice President and Treasurer of MIT Israel Ruiz and Carmen Vela, Spain’s Secretary of State of Investigation, Development and Innovation, were also among those at the meeting.
