The Concrete Sustainability Hub will hold its annual showcase Sept. 26 at the MIT Media Lab. “Building for Life: MIT CSHub Showcase 2013” begins at 9 a.m. with keynote speaker Ray LaHood, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation, and runs until 3 p.m. Talks will focus on the latest developments in concrete science, and life-cycle cost and environmental research, with afternoon workshops on pavements, buildings and concrete science.
