From Oct. 15-16, the department will host its inaugural CEE Rising Stars workshop at MIT. Twenty outstanding women were selected from a pool of 120 applicants from across the country to participate in this 2-day, expenses-paid workshop. Participants will present their research in an open poster session and reception, 4-6 p.m. Oct. 15, as well as benefit from faculty talks and panels on issues relevant to academic careers.
