CEE member elected to MIT’s board of trustees

On June 3, the MIT Corporation’s board of trustees elected eight term members to each serve for five years, effective July 1st. One of the new members is CEE graduate Donald E. Shobrys ’75, co-director and mentor for the MIT Venture Mentoring Service. Shobrys has held a fruitful career since his graduation from CEE, and remains highly active in the Institute. In the past, he has worked for Exxon and Chesapeake Decision Sciences. Currently he serves on the Joint Advisory Committee and Development Committee and is president of the MIT Alumni Association.
