When President Sebastián Piñera of Chile visited campus Friday, Sept. 23 to meet with MIT President Susan Hockfield, tour the Media Lab and address Chilean students in the Boston area, it was CEE Professor Eduardo Kausel who met Piñera at the Media Lab to welcome him. Kausel, a native of Chile, knew Piñera when the president was a student at Harvard University in the 70s.
